GOSPEL musician Reverend Togarepi Chivaviro has officially released the video for his song Maranatha which he roped in several local gospel singers.
The video was officially dropped on social media platform YouTube.
According to Rev Chivaviro, Maranatha means Come Lord Jesus.
The video features Reverend Chivaviro and wife Juliet, Leonard Zhakata, Mathias Mhere, Blessing Shumba, Agatha Murudzwa, Olinda Marowa and Josh Kays.
The video also features two South African artistes Muzi Putuma and Zandie.
Speaking on the collaboration, Chivaviro said there is power in working together.
“We have officially released the Maranatha video a few hours ago (Monday) and this is another of our best combined efforts that we are giving to the fans.
“There is always power in working together and the results are for the fans to see. This is our second mega collaboration after Ebenezer and with the Maranatha team we hope to surpass the level set by Ebenezer,” he said.
“With YouTube and social media we hope to reach a number of people in different locations,” he said.
On Ebenezer, Chivaviro worked with renowned gospel artistes Pastor Charamba and Baba Manyeruke among others.
One of the featured artistes, Mathias Mhere, believes the song will go a long way.
“We are happy to have come together as gospel musicians, this is one of the best collaborated videos and song that will decide our pace in 2017,” he said
