RISING musician Mbeu is set to open this year’s series of Dzvamu-Tsvamu at Pakare Paya Arts Centre in Norton this Saturday.
Dzvamu-Tsvamu is a music session where upcoming and established musicians get an opportunity to make live music and get mentorship from the music legend Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi.
Speaking to H-Metro, Tuku’s handler Sam Mataure said:
“People must come in their numbers in order to support these upcoming artistes.
“We do this once every month and we are going to be doing it throughout the year grooming and molding upcoming and already established artistes.”
Mataure also said the sessions also seek to be a hub for musicians to network and exchange notes.
The event is expected to start at 8 pm till late and tickets have been pegged for $5.
