DYNAMOS have confirmed their entire squad ‘took part in training’ yesterday with all senior players resuming duty ahead of the 2017 season.

All DeMbare players took part in a gym session in the morning with coaches concentrating on light training sessions to build up players’ fitness level and this will continue to Friday.

Players, who had gone AWOL since last week include midfielder Masimba Mambare and leftback Ocean Mushure.

Goalkeeper Tatenda Mukuruva and defender Elisha Muroiwa, who were at the AFCON tournament, also joined their teammates for their first session.

Dynamos manager Richard Chihoro said:

“It was full house for us. We resumed training ahead of the new season and I don’t think we have anyone else missing.

“Masimba was in Kwekwe and he is back. He is yet to sign a new deal but we are negotiating with him.

Mushure signed a one-year contract last week and he also started straining Tuesday.

“For now, it can be hard training since they are coming from holiday. We will be training once a day at the gym for the entire week. The technical members put emphasis on building up the fitness of the players after close to two months of holiday.”

Chihoro added:

“Mukuruva is back and he trained. His case is being discussed by our bosses and I understand part of his sign on fees from his previous contract was paid. He was part of the squad yesterday. Muroiwa also came and we don’t have anyone missing at the moment.”

Chihoro admitted that Dynamos will be on rebuilding process this season but believes the senior players available will give guidance to the newcomers.

“We have young boys and we believe in them. We chose the crème when we conducted trials two weeks ago. They are unknown players. At Dynamos anyone can rise and make a name for himself. It’s a group of talented players and we believe we picked the right candidates,” added Chihoro.
