JAH Prayzah’s handlers say they feel honoured to be part of Mafikizolo’s 20th anniversary and they vowed to learn one or two things from the multi-award-winning South African pop outfit.

The lanky performer, who is closely working with the outfit across the Limpopo, says he is determined to emulate the group.

The two camps hold a double at the Harare International Conference Centre on April 28.

In an interview, Jah Prayzah’s most trusted lieutenant, Keen Mushapaidze said:

“We are honoured to be celebrating Mafikizolo’s 20th anniversary with them as they mark two decades in the game.

“The 20 years we are talking about are the ones they spent at the peak after making a breakthrough in the industry.

“As you know, we have done some collaborations with them like Sendekera and we are ready to celebrate with them, especially when they take the celebrations come to Zimbabwe in April.”

He added:

“We are ready for this particular show where Mafikizolo will be celebrating 20 years on top of their game.

“Of course we have shared the stage together with the group but this particular show is a bit special for us and we urge fans to come and celebrate with us.

“In our case, we are yet to reach that milestone and I hope we will reach it one day and we have been working towards that dream.”

Show coordinator, Dee Nosh of 2 Kings said they were ready for the show.

“We have done all the necessary ground work and I hope fans will certainly enjoy the show as we unveil our international shows.

“Like we promised earlier this year, the Mafikizolo show is just one of the main international acts we are bringing and more will be coming this year,” he said.

Nosh said supporting acts to the show will be advised in due course where fans are expected to have their input in the selection process as has become the norm.
