GOSPEL musician Reverend Togarepi Chivaviro says he is ready to launch his latest album before his South African fans this Saturday.
Titled Maranatha, the 10-track album also features superstar Oliver Mtukudzi and two of his siblings – Machaya and Tsungirirayi.
The musician has also collaborated with his wife Juliet, Mathias Mhere, Munyaradzi Munodawafa and Leonard Zhakata, among others on the title track.
In an interview, Chivaviro assured his fans of a quality product.
“All is set for our South African launch this Saturday and we are excited to give our fans a quality product.
“We have continued from where we had left on the previous album and hope this 13th piece will also stand out like the Ebenezer and Mhepo Inoperekedza album,” he said.
After the South Africa launch, the musician dates his Zimbabwean fans on April 4 at the Anglican Cathedral in the capital.
Chivaviro has highly praised the support from his fans and fellow artistes.
“I am humbled by the support I am getting from fellow musicians both at my South African base and back home in Zimbabwe.
“My fans have kept me going and looking forward to great career, I hope the new album will fall in their favour,” he said.
South African gospel legend Derrick Ndzimande is expected to grace the launch.
The Ebenzer hit-maker has a number of tracks doing well on the local gospel chat shows, the latest being Mhepo Inoperekedza and the Maranatha collaboration.
Songs on the album include Chechi Yoenda Sehondo (featuring Oliver Mtukudzi), Dondifemerai, Dzokera Kwavabva, Maranatha, Muna Vanhu Wenyu, Mwari Ndiye Tsvingo, Tariro Yangu, Wabaiwa and Zvaitwa Zvaitwa.
