HARARE City coach Philani ‘Beefy’ Ncube says he was delighted by his team’s display in their 2-0 win over Triangle.
Beefy believes his side improved, picking up from where they left in a midweek fixture against FC Platinum.
This was Ncube’s second win after taking over from Mike Madzivanyika.
“As a coach you will never be satisfied unless you have scored 90 goals. We took it from where we left against FC Platinum on Wednesday.
Despite the win, Ncube said there are a number of areas which need improvement.
“There are still certain positions that need to be rectified, the right back and the strike force but there was a bit of improvement as far as the midfield is concerned compared to our last game.
“We are still positive and we are going to make it if we work harder,” he said.
“We kept possession especially in the first half but it is unfortunate that we missed so many chances,” he added.
The former Bulawayo City coach also mentioned that scoring comes naturally and he cannot blame his players for missing chances.
“As a coach, I cannot tell a player to score but I can give him framework on how to score.
“Scoring is natural and I cannot blame my players for missing chances,” said Ncube.
