TRIANGLE coach Taurai Mangwiro is happy with the team’s fighting spirit.
After Hwange cancelled out their lead at Gibbo on Sunday, they had to dig deep for a 2-1 win.
“We are making tremendous progress, if only we can start winning away where we have been poor of late. The most encouraging part is that we are playing well,” said Mangwiro.
“We scored at crucial stages of the game starting in the early minutes. The send-off actually gave them some vigour because prior to that we were way on top but once they were one man down they put in extra effort and competed.”
Mangwiro believes it is not late to be among the best in the Premiership.
“We would like to be nearer the top teams than the bottom ones, we are heading in the right direction though there is still a lot of work to be done.”
Ralph Kawondera scored a late goal. It was build-up that also involved Nhamo Lameck and Simba Makoni
“I am happy the boys scored at that stage. They were playing for points and they got what they wanted.
The goal was what we needed to end the game at the death,” he said.
