PUMA Energy Zimbabwe has launched Puma PRIS, the country’s first fully integrated multi-tiered loyalty programme in the fuel sector, an innovation aimed at promoting cashless, transparent, and secure transactions while aligning with the National Development Strategy 1 (NDS1) and the Smart Zimbabwe 2030 Master Plan.
The new platform allows customers to earn rewards on fuel and shop purchases at Puma service stations and redeem them for a wide range of goods and services across the Puma Energy retail network and selected partners, including groceries, airtime and meals.Puma PRIS is built to transform the customer journey by converting ordinary purchases into meaningful, everyday value.
Users can earn and redeem rewards across fuel, retail, restaurants and service outlets at Puma stations nationwide.
Speaking at the launch, Puma Energy’s Retail Manager for Zimbabwe, Belinda Chibwe, said the new platform is designed to show appreciation to loyal customers.
“It turns every routine fuel stop into something valuable. With the rewards they earn, customers can pick up groceries, enjoy a meal, or even buy airtime and other services—whether for themselves or for friends and family. It’s loyalty that goes beyond the pump, spreading benefits across households and communities. The more you shop at Puma the better your rewards.”
Chibwe said the facility supports the country’s digital transformation agenda.
She said the facility promotes the widespread adoption of cashless, transparent, and secure consumer experiences, aligning directly with the National Development Strategy 1 (NDS1) and the Smart Zimbabwe 2030 Master Plan.
“The Puma PRIS app launches at a time when Zimbabwe’s steadily rising internet penetration presents a strong opportunity to expand digital services,” added Chibwe.
Puma Energy is a leading global downstream energy company operating in more than 35 countries.
In Zimbabwe, the company is a wholly owned and major fuel supplier with a network of nearly 60 stations nationwide.
It also plays a key role in the aviation industry through the supply of jet fuel across five airports.
The firm said beyond offering rewards, the Puma PRIS app provides customers with a built-in financial management tool.
It gives users tailored spending insights, tracks consumption patterns, and automatically logs and categorises all transactions.
The app’s dashboards and analytical reports help customers plan better and make informed financial decisions.
The introduction of PRIS marks a major step in Puma Energy’s broader investments in digital innovation and customer-centric service delivery.
It underscores the company’s commitment to advancing private-sector-led technology solutions that support national development objectives.
Puma Energy says its investment in Puma PRIS reflects a long-term vision to build flexible, wide-reaching digital ecosystems that not only enhance customer convenience but also contribute to Zimbabwe’s growing digital economy as a driver of socio-economic growth.
