British parliamentarians call to bar Zimbabwe’s Mnangagwa to the UK royal coronation

A group of British parliamentarians is objecting to the invitation of Zimbabwe’s President to the Coronation. Members of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Zimbabwe say the invitation of President Emmerson Mnangagwa should be withdrawn ‘in light of the grave political and human rights situation in Zimbabwe’. Speaking exclusively to SABC, the co-chairperson of the group said they’ve written to the UK foreign secretary, asking for the invitation to be withdrawn.
