Exactly a year after performing at the wedding of gold mining tycoon Allan Sibanda and his bride Dzidzai, musician Oriyano has been gifted with a brand new Mercedes-Benz E-Class, for his stellar performance at the couple’s union.
Oriyano joins several artistes who have been rewarded with cars and cash by different businesspeople for their great artistic services.
Sibanda’s gift to Oriyano is to honour the great performance that the Hello Melo hitmaker delivered on his special day. The car is also a cherry on top of the cake, following Oriyano’s successful music season.
Sibanda’s wedding is regarded as one of the most extravagant and “million-dollar” weddings in Zimbabwe’s recent history.
Held in Masvingo, the celebration was a high-profile affair that combined traditional elements of the Guta Ra Mwari church customs with extreme modern luxury.
The wedding was well planned with the groom making a spectacular arrival at the venue via personal helicopter, followed by a convoy of high-end luxury vehicles and motorbikes performing stunts.
The setting featured custom décor, imported furnishings, and a massive, multi-tiered wedding cake that became a focal point of the reception.
