Holy Ten explodes in Instagram rant, accuses Mnangagwa twins of seizing gifts

HARARE – Rapper Holy Ten went on an extraordinary tirade on Instagram Live on Sunday, accusing President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s twin sons of sending soldiers to his home and repossessing gifts previously given to him – including a house.

The musician, who openly campaigned for Zanu PF ahead of the disputed 2023 elections, was showered with gifts by the party’s inner circle in the aftermath of his endorsement. But in a stunning reversal, he now claims those benefits are being clawed back.

In an emotional broadcast, Holy Ten – real name Mukudzei Chitsama – alleged that Sean Mnangagwa, a major in the Zimbabwe National Army, dispatched troops to his residence before instructing his wife, Kimberly Richards, to vacate the property.

“Sean, what you did at my house, I’m coming to your house. Make sure you kill me. I’m not afraid of Zanu PF, all of you. I’m not afraid of you. Stop what you are doing,” he fumed.

“I joined Zanu PF because I was trying to clean the reputation, the image of Zanu PF. What you did, boys, I can finish all of you off. I can end the Zanu PF today. I’m bigger than the Zanu PF.”

Holy Ten, 26, insisted he still respects President Mnangagwa, who doubles as commander-in-chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, but said his sons Sean and Collins were undermining him.

“Collins thinks he is loved by the people, let him start a ‘live’ right now, let’s see how many people join. Do not mess with me,” he warned.

The “Pressure” hitmaker further threatened to confront the Mnangagwa siblings directly in Harare.

“I know where Collins lives, don’t worry. We are fixing the country, they shouldn’t mess with me,” he said, before declaring: “I’m not Blessed Geza.”

It was not immediately clear what triggered the fallout between the singer and the Mnangagwa twins, but his comments risk drawing him into dangerous confrontation with the ruling elite he once embraced.

Holy Ten’s meltdown sparked frenzied debate on social media, with some users mocking his sudden change of tone while others expressed concern for his safety.

Within hours of his rant, he suspended his Instagram account @holytenmusic but later reinstated it with an apology: “Apologies to my brothers Sean and Collins.”

The Mnangagwa family has not commented on the allegations.
