HARARE – The Zimbabwe Media Commission (ZMC) has urged Zimbabwean journalists to shun hate speech in their reportage of the country’s harmonised elections set for August 23 this year. In a statement, ZMC Board chairperson, Professor Ruby Magosvongwe said the commission shall, in collaboration with the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC), monitor media coverage of the much-awaited poll.
