A Redcliff man has appeared before a Kwekwe magistrate for robbing two women and forcing them to perform sexual acts which he recorded.

The masked and knife wielding Kenneth Ndavambi (38) reportedly emerged from the bush and pounced on two women before demanding cash and cellphones.

He then demanded that the two women remove their clothes and to fondle each other’s breasts and play with their private parts while he captured the sickening action on his cellphone.

One of the phones that he stole from the victims was tracked down leading to his arrest.

He appeared before Kwekwe Magistrate Ms Cheryl Tembo facing robbery and criminal insult charges.

He was remanded in custody to 13 January 2023 for trial.

Prosecuting Miss Nyasha Hloka said on 17 December 2022 around 6PM around Mutegude area in Redcliff, the two complainants, who cannot be named for ethical reasons, were on their way home.

“The accused person suddenly appeared from the bush wearing a mask and produced a knife and demanded that they hand over their cellphones to him. Fearing for their lives, the two complainants complied,” the court heard.

Ndavambi ordered the women to remove their clothes and forced them to lick each other’s private parts and breasts while he recorded them.

He demanded to have sexual intercourse with them but they refused.

Upon hearing a passerby approaching, the accused person took to his heels leaving the complainants naked.
