Shoppers interviewed on site also expressed strong approval of the upgrades, highlighting the improved environment, the expanded retail offering, and, importantly, the continued sense of safety and comfort that has long defined the Village. Many noted that despite the modernisation, the development has remained true to the standards originally set by Sam Levy.
Staff and workers also shared a renewed sense of pride, expressing gratitude and excitement about the improvements. Several remarked that Sam Levy would be proud of how his children have carried forward his vision, continuing to invest in and evolve the Village while maintaining its core identity.
One shopper, Mrs Elina Moore, said: “There are many developments and I have witnessed them, and I am happy that the Village continues to undergo extensive renovations in line with international standards. Even the movie theatres and restaurants are now state-of-the-art.”
Another shopper, Mr Peter Shumba, also commended the increase in security and its visibility.
“What I have also witnessed is an improvement in security and the installation of state-of-the-art CCTV cameras to ensure that customers are protected. This is commendable, and such major improvements and renovations should be applauded, as customers will feel safe to come and conduct various activities at this place,” he said.
The security team comprises trained professionals with a commitment to community safety, and they patrol both day and night to maintain a secure atmosphere, ensuring that visitors, shoppers, and tenants can enjoy peace of mind while exploring the Village’s shopping, dining, and entertainment spaces.
