HARARE – Gokwe-Kabuyuni MP and businessman Leonard Chikomba has been killed in a car accident.
The 67-year-old lawmaker was returning from a Zanu PF meeting in Gweru on Saturday evening when he was involved in a car accident 20km from Chitekete, where he ran some shops.
Larry Mavhima, the Zanu PF Midlands chairman said: “I can sadly confirm the death of Honourable Chikomba in a tragic accident while returning from a party meeting. He was respected in his community and will be sorely missed.”
