KADOMA – In a shocking incident, a 21-year-old Kadoma man died in a suspected murder believably by suspects who took his body to the railway line in the area where it was later crushed by a train.
Police said weekend the body of the deceased Takesure Samwari was found with a deep cut on the head.
“Police in Kadoma are investigating circumstances surrounding a case of suspected murder in which Takesure Samwari (21) is suspected to have been murdered before his body was placed across a railway line at the 440 km peg along Machipanda-Dabuka Railways, Mainline, Kadoma,” police said through their Twitter handle Saturday.
“The body was run over by a locomotive on 20/01/23 and was found with a deep cut on the head. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station. #notocrime.”
Meanwhile, in another incident involving violence, a 27-year-old Zvishavane man was left fighting for his life in hospital following a shooting attack by an unknown suspect.
Said the police, “Police in Zvishavane are investigating circumstances surrounding a shooting incident in which a 27 year man was shot on the stomach by an unknown suspect, while walking along a strip road with a friend, from Kroomdrai, Mimosa area near Dadaya High School on 20/01/23.
“The complainant is admitted at a local hospital in Zvishavane.”
